RESEARCH / OUR APPROACH

Begin with
the actual work.

We study recurring operational tasks, the people responsible for them and the work that remains between systems.

Evidence before
opportunity.

A technical possibility is not yet a business. We look for paid human effort, a clear buyer and a way to test value in a bounded period.

Existing software, outsourcing and internal tools are part of the investigation. If they already solve the problem sufficiently, that is a reason to stop.

  1. 01

    Observe the work

Follow a real task from input to output. Find the repetition, handoffs and decisions people make.

  2. 02

    Measure the burden

Separate routine processing from judgement. Establish time, volume, errors and the cost of review.

  3. 03

    Prove the value

Test a narrow workflow in shadow mode. Compare the result with the existing process.

  4. 04

    Build only on evidence

Continue when the value survives scrutiny. Stop when the existing tools or human process work better.

What counts as evidence?

Observed work

A real process, its inputs and outputs, and the people doing it.

Measured burden

Volume, processing time, review, rework and exceptions. Ranges are recorded as ranges.

A fair comparison

Compare the proposed approach with the current process and the tools already available.

Countries are compared on workflow evidence, cost, competition and access. A familiar market does not get an automatic preference.
